The Founder’s Vision – 1971
Our journey began in 1971 when M.A. Raoof, a visionary member of an Irani family, opened his first tea stores with a singular mission: to bring Hyderabad’s famous Irani Tea leaves directly from the finest tea gardens to the people. His passion for tea was matched only by his commitment to uncompromising quality.
Royal Tea Traders – 1979
Building on early success, M.A. Raoof founded Royal Tea Traders in 1979, expanding the vision to serve cafes and tea lovers throughout Hyderabad. He personally established relationships with premier tea gardens in Assam, Darjeeling, and the Nilgiris, overseeing every aspect of production to ensure exceptional standards.
